Our clinics welcome girls who want to build their volleyball skills, confidence, and love of the game. Each clinic listing will show the age group and skill level so families can choose the right session.
Who are A3Z clinics for?

Does my daughter need club experience?

No. We welcome athletes who are new to club volleyball as well as players looking to sharpen their skills.
Clinics focus on volleyball fundamentals, movement and agility, game awareness, and strong habits as teammates. We want athletes to work hard, take chances, and feel supported while they learn.
What will players work on?

Athletic clothes, court shoes, knee pads if she uses them, and a labeled water bottle. We’ll provide volleyballs.

Does attending a clinic guarantee a team spot?

No. Clinics are a chance to train with A3Z and get to know our coaches. Team selection happens through the tryout process.
Our planned clinic times are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7–9 p.m. at Inspire Courts in Gilbert, AZ. We’ll post individual dates and registration links as each session is confirmed.

What tournaments will A3Z Volleyball participate in?
A3Z Volleyball plans to compete in the Arizona Region of USA Volleyball, participating in all applicable regional tournaments throughout the club season. We also plan to attend select AAU Volleyball tournaments to provide our athletes with additional competitive opportunities.

Will A3Z participate in both USA Volleyball and AAU tournaments?
Yes! Our goal is to provide athletes with a well-rounded competitive experience through USA Volleyball regional competition and select AAU events. This allows our teams to experience different levels of competition while continuing to develop their skills.

Are tournaments mandatory?
Athletes selected for an A3Z competitive team are expected to attend all scheduled team tournaments. We understand that unexpected circumstances arise, and we ask families to communicate any scheduling conflicts with their coaches as early as possible.

Most Arizona Region tournaments are expected to take place within Arizona. Depending on team placement, tournament availability, and the season schedule, additional travel opportunities may be considered. Families will receive tournament locations and scheduling information as soon as it becomes available.

Our teams plan to participate in the full schedule of applicable Arizona Region USA Volleyball tournaments, along with select AAU events. The exact number of tournaments will depend on team division, tournament availability, and the finalized season schedule.

At A3Z, we believe every athlete deserves opportunities to develop and contribute. While playing time may vary based on rotations, positions, attendance, effort, and competitive situations, our coaches are committed to communicating expectations clearly and creating a positive environment where every player can grow.
Does every player get playing time during tournaments?

Will athletes need both USA Volleyball and AAU memberships?
Athletes participating in USA Volleyball events will need an eligible USA Volleyball membership through the Arizona Region. Athletes participating in AAU tournaments may also need an AAU membership, depending on the event's requirements. A3Z will provide families with registration instructions and membership details before the season begins.

When will the tournament schedule be available?
Tournament schedules will be shared once teams are formed, divisions are determined, and event registrations are confirmed. We aim to provide families with as much advance notice as possible so they can plan accordingly.
